Somewhere there exists three Ektachrome transparencies taken by Theo Van Tol sometime in the late 1970’s.

This was printed and put on display at Victoria House in London in 1978. As part of this team, my main task was the hand processing of the final 3-10″x8″ Ektachrome transparencies.
Peter left the department in 1979. The Central Photographic Unit no longer exists. No doubt the negatives are buried in the Government Archives somewhere. Perhaps start with the Public Records Office (see below).
Article: At last, transport mural’s a ‘take’
The first successful negatives of the entire mural were snapped last Thursday (date unknown) using natural light by a team led by Crown Lands chief photographer Mr. Theo Van Tol.

In September 2023, we asked PROV to see if the three 20×15 centimetre (10″x8″) Ektachrome transparencies were in its collection.
After a number of interactions, we received a spreadsheet and the following message:
The spreadsheet does not specifically mention 3-10″x8″ Ektachrome images. Unfortunately it seems they are not part of this collection although there are many references to it according to the spreadsheet I sent you.
